lightenclosure
A research project in embodied computation for Axel Killian's Computational Design class. This interactive architecture project explored traveling light as a medium to envelop space. Several iterations of experimentation included analog and digital simulations of light patterns, visually documented on the red timeline below. The final prototype for this project simulated a human-sized, moving light structure whose movement would incorporate different levels of chaos depending upon its distance from living beings. Used Rhino, Grasshopper, Processing, and Arduino for modeling and prototyping.
