A Topography Typography font based in response to field work in Southeast Utah during Spring 2019. The Bears Ears font is seen in action in the circulating pamphlet which illustrates a collection of detected glyphs in the original National Monument site and highlights the presidential proclamation declaring the space protected. Pamphlet originally distributed at WordHack in March 2019. Work on view as part of the Public Lands, Private Hands exhibit in May 2019 including a 8’×8’ vinyl text piece and a series of explanatory, sourced images as curated from high-resolution, Landsat imagery.
